Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are between you and the provider of the Moosic application. By using the Moosic mobile application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Moosic is a music theory ear training application that provides interactive exercises, competitive matches, educational content, and a virtual cosmetics marketplace. The App is available on iOS and Android.

2. Account Registration

You must create an account to access most features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems
• Use offensive, abusive, or inappropriate usernames or display names
• Exploit bugs, automated scripts, or third-party tools to gain unfair advantage in competitions
• Interfere with the normal operation of the App or other users’ experience

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

Moosic offers an optional premium subscription (“Moosic Premium”) through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Billing, renewal, and cancellation are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on where you purchased the subscription. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your device’s store settings.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. We do not process payments directly.

5. Virtual Currency and Cosmetics

The App includes virtual coins that can be earned through gameplay and used to purchase in-app cosmetic items. Coins have no real-world monetary value, are non-transferable, and are non-refundable. We reserve the right to modify coin earning rates or prices at any time.

We may revoke, adjust, or remove virtual coins, cosmetics, or other in-app items where they have been obtained through abuse, exploits, chargebacks, technical errors, or breach of these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including but not limited to graphics, audio, text, game mechanics, and software — is owned by or licensed to Moosic and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on any part of the App without our written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for loss of data, use, or profits arising out of or related to your use of the App.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for breach of your statutory consumer rights.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially or repeatedly violate these Terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to other users, the App, or our services. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. Deleting your account will delete or irreversibly anonymise your personal data, except information we are required or permitted to retain by law for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or financial record-keeping.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms within the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except that if you live in a country or territory where mandatory consumer protection laws apply, you will continue to benefit from those protections. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
